Motorcycle Accident Leaves One Dead

A 16-year-old boy is dead after a tragic motorcycle accident Sunday night.

According to a press release, Swift County Sheriff's received a 911 phone call of a motorcycle accident. 

According to authorities, 16-year-old Gary Telford sustained multiple injuries, was unresponsive and was already receiving CPR when Appleton Police and Ambulance arrived on scene.

Telford was found on private property at 2355 Hwy 7 SW, about one mile West of Appleton. 

The victim was transported to the Appleton Hospital where he was later pronounced dead.

The accident is under investigation by the Swift County Coroner and the Swift County Sheriff.
