Megan Brown
Megan is our newest addition to the KSAX Eyewitness News team. She will be bringing you your local news at 10 o’clock and will be reporting for the station as well. Megan recently graduated from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities with a degree in journalism, where she helped anchor, produce, and report for their campus news program. She is joining us from WCCO-TV, where she gained a tremendous amount of experience working as an assistant assignment desk editor. Megan interned with WCCO in the summer and fall of 2008, where she developed a wild passion for the business. From there on out, she knew she wanted to work as a journalist. Megan was able to help cover the riots at the Republican National Convention with Reporter Caroline Lowe and was able to tag along with Political Reporter Pat Kessler when he interviewed Barack Obama a few months before his inauguration. Megan also interned at CTV-15 for a year, a cable access station in Roseville. There, she learned the building blocks of the business, shooting and editing. Megan grew up in Saint Cloud and is excited to help tell the stories of those that haven’t yet been heard. She is excited to bring you your local coverage and to help be the voice of many in Greater Minnesota.
When she’s not at work Megan enjoys: browsing through antique shops and bookstores, and especially loves finding good buys! She also collects paintings and loves to decorate. She enjoys spending time at her lake cabin in the summer, but will take a hot cup of coffee at any given time.
