Man Extracted from Car in Garflied

56-year-old Charles Bluhm was trapped in his car in a ditch around 8 this morning after a two vehicle car accident. The accident happened at the intersection of County Road 61 and Bedman Drive in Garfield, Minn.

Authorities extracted Bluhm from his car as soon as they arrived at the scene of the accident.  The cause is still under investigation; however, authorites say Rosemary Etzel, 65, was driving the other car involved in the crash, and she was still in her car on the road when they arrived.

Both Bluhm and Etzel were treated at Douglas County Hospital for their injuries; however, Bluhm was later transferred to St. Cloud Hospital.

Their conditions are unkown at this time.
