Ten Commandments Display Vandalized in Beltrami Co.

The Beltrami County Sheriff's Office is investigating a case of property damage after someone spray painted black graffiti on a display of the Ten Commandments.

The monument, which was paid for and built by a private party, is located on U.S. Highway 2, about five miles west of Bemidji.

The vandalism was first reported Thursday by a passing motorists.
