Hit and Run

A hit and run occurred in Wood Lake early this morning. Two suspects have been caught in a hit and run that happened early this morning in the City of Wood Lake.

The suspects, a 42-year-old female and a 44-year-old male, were taken into custody according to a Press Release.

The Yellow Medicine County Sheriffs Office was called to the scene at approximately 1:47 a.m.

Deputies were able to locate the vehicle involved and arrest the female suspect. The male suspect took off on foot prior to deputies arriving.

Around 5:30 a.m. the male suspect returned to the neighbor’s residence and threatened them with a possible firearm. Soon after the man was located and arrested by deputies.

The condition of the victim is not known. More information will be able after charges are filed. The names of the parties involved have not yet been released.
