Hit and Run Suspect Turns Himself In

According to the Todd County Sheriff's, Timothy Michael Gross of Sartell, reported to authorities that he had been the driver of the vehicle in this property damage accident.

Last Tuesday Gross's vehicle, a late 1990's to early 2000's model Chevrolet extended cab or crew cab truck white in color, hit a power pole and fence in John Galligan's front yard around 5 p.m.

The truck was heading eastbound on County Road 13 when it veered into Galligan's yard. It continued eastbound toward Burtrum, leaving the roadway twice more and knocking street signs over near a cemetery before hitting another field in the city of Burtrum.

The truck received severe damage to the front end and as a result Gross sustained injuries.

The reports have been forwarded to the Todd County Attorney's Office for possible charges.
