Investigators had received information that 61-year-old Charles Henry Johnson had been selling methamphetamine from his home on the 400 block of 22nd Avenue North in St. Cloud. Someone had also tipped them off that a lot of foot traffic seemed to be coming to and from the house. Acting upon the tip, undercover investigators successfully bought meth from Johnson at his home, and a search warrant was issued around 7 Tuesday morning. The St. Cloud Drug Unit found 19.2 grams of crystal meth in Johnson's home. Investigators also found 5 hydrocodone pills. Johnson was transported to the Stearns County Jail and booked and held for second degree sale of a controlled substance, second degree possession of a controlled substance and fifth degree possession of a controlled substance. Investigators said they expected to make more arrests in the case. The St. Cloud Metro Gang Strike Force, the St. Cloud Tactical Response Team, the St. Cloud K-9 Unit, and the Community Crime Impact Team assisted in the investigation.
