Driver Killed after Going Through Stop Sign in Otter Tail Co.

OTTER TAIL CTY., MN - According to the Minnesota State Patrol, one person is dead after a broadside crash occurred in Otter Tail Co.

According to State Patrol records, 36-year-old Delilah Perala of New York Mills died after failing to stop at a stop sign on Co. Rd. 142.

Perala was heading eastbound on 142 when the driver of a semi truck, Daryl Trites, was heading southbound on Hwy. 106 when the loaded potato truck hit Perala's vehicle broadside. 

According to State Patrol this crash is currently under investigation.

The Otter Tail County Sheriff's Office also assisted in this crash.
