Hubbard County ATV Accident Takes Another Young Life

HUBBARD COUNTY, MN - Another young man has suffered a fatal head trauma, after he was thrown from his ATV just after 6:30 Sunday evening while riding westbound along County Road 93 in Hubbard County.

The Hubbard County Sheriff's Office said 20-year-old Corey Benedix was pronounced dead at the scene.  The accident happened one mile west of State Highway 64, in Hendrickson Township.

The young man was driving a 2005 Honda TRX 450R.  Investigators from the Minnesota State Patrol and Hubbard County Sheriff's Office are looking into what may have caused the accident.

Benedix was taken to the Ramsey County Medical Center for an autopsy.
