2009 Athlete of the Week: Staples-Motley Cardinals

In the past, the Cardinals were not known as a power, but this year they are proving otherwise.

Their record so far is 5-0 and the coach attributes that to their strong defense.

They are a veteran team this year returning 10 of their 11 starters from last year.

Their one goal is to return home as state champions this year, so watch out for the Staples-Motley Cardinal defenders!
