Tony Seeman - Sports/News reporter

Tony Seeman has an interest for a great many things: broadcasting, sports, anything technology or entertainment related. He’s an all around self-proclaimed nerd.

Tony is a graduate of Saint Cloud State University, where he majored in Television Journalism. At SCSU Tony gained a wealth of knowledge in TV broadcasting throughout his four years. He also got the chance to use his passion for hockey to provide state wide coverage for the Division One SCSU Huskies.

Tony has enjoyed becoming part of the community here in Alexandria and is excited to talk with new and exciting people in the area.

Although Tony will be covering all kinds of things for KSAX Eyewitness News, he’s very interested in sports. Don’t be surprised if you see him lurking around stadiums, rinks or fields in the coming months, and more importantly don’t be afraid to come say, “Hi.”

When he’s not working Tony enjoys: Doing pretty much anything. During the winter, Tony hits the outdoor rinks, going toe-to-toe against ninth graders to relive his glory days as a hockey player---only to quickly realize how out of shape he is. In the summer months, he heads to the golf course and slices his way to a triple digit score--having a blast while doing it. Tony also has no problem wasting an entire day indoors, digging into movies.

Favorite Meal: Chipotle burrito. St. Cloud is too far to get one Alexandria! Let’s make it happen!

Favorite Movies: The Lord of the Rings, Gladiator, 300, The Prestige, A Beautiful Mind, District 9, anything with Chris Farley, Will Ferrell, or Jim Carrey, any and all epic war movies, the list goes on.

Interesting Fact: Tony is an absolutely miserable basketball player but can spin a basketball on multiple fingers with ease.

Dream Job: Man vs. Food host, that guy has it made.
