Updated at: 10/19/2009 12:30 PM | KSAX.com Thieves Steal Prescription Drugs, Money from Breen's Pharmacy in BensonBenson, MN - On October 16th, the Benson Police Department responded to a report of a burglary at Breen's Pharmacy in Benson, Minn. Between the hours 4:30 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. is when the burglary is believed to have occurred. According to authorities, unknown individual(s) entered the building through an air duct on the roof. The burglar(s) took numerous prescription narcotics, medications and money. Whoever broke in the building left by breaking out the glass door on the front of the business authorities say. Authorities also said this burglary is similar to a burglary of a pharmacy in Dawson, Minn. that occurred on Sept. 25th, 2009. Benson Chief of Police, Jim Crace said the individual(s) are believed to be slender build in order to be able to slide through the air vent.
