Anthony Kiekow  - 5pm & 6pm Anchor/Reporter

Anthony is very excited to be a part of the KSAX Eyewitness News team!  He’ll be working with us as a fulltime reporter.  Anthony recently graduated from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities in 2009 with a B.A. degree in Broadcast Journalism.  During college he was a reporter and an anchor for the student-run newscast, University Report.  He also interned at KARE 11 News and spent a semester in Washington, D.C. interning for the U.S. Congress. But his most memorable experience has been spending a summer studying Spanish in Mexico.  Anthony is from the Twin Cities and is excited to get to know Alexandria and all of its surrounding cities.

When he’s not working Anthony enjoys: Reading autobiographies, going to the movies, meeting new people and spending time with friends and family.

Favorite Movie: The Aviator, the Pelican Brief, Field of Dreams, State of Play.

Favorite Books:  The Big Sea, This Boy’s Life, Dreams From my Father.

Favorite Meal: Steak Fried Rice.

Interesting Fact: Anthony is currently writing his own memoir.

Dream Job:  White House Correspondent.
