Standing Broom Craze Continues

SOUTH HAVEN, Minn. The standing broom craze continues as e-mails equipped with standing broom pictures continue to flood in.

The story started when two neighbors in South Haven, Minn. reported their brooms were standing straight up in the air all by themselves. A number of viewers and KSAX.com readers from all over the country have since given it a try to see what the broom phenomenon's all about.

Christine Wegen and Travis Wentworth from St. Cloud decided to try it out and sure enough, their brooms stood straight up and continued to stand for twelve hours straight.

Jamie Haugen of Olivia says she also tried it out and sure enough, had the same results.

Betty Durant says her and her son got two different brooms to stand up. They said it was especially neat because one of the brooms was standing at an angle.

“I tried and my broom has been standing for several hours, and we are in California…just in time for Halloween,” Stacy Oler’s e-mail read.

South Haven neighbors Shelly Johnston and Michael Olson say they spoke with a psychic about the freakish phenomenon who said it must be a bad spirit.

When they told her it was happening to both of them, the psychic told them our planets are changing from retrograde motion to normal right now and that could be the cause.
