Family Needs Help Naming Puppy Who Survived Horrific Shooting Attack

WILLMAR, MINN. - The family whose puppy survived a horrific shooting in Willmar now needs your help to name the pup.

That little one was the only pup that survived the shooting that killed her eight brothers and sisters Saturday night.

Terence Schwartz shot at the nine puppies, because he was frustrated with the puppies and did not want them around, according to his tenant, Trisha Chapman.

Trisha was not there when the shooting happened, but her brother Frank was babysitting her 7-year-old daughter and his 17-month-old daughter at the house when Schwartz started shooting.

"My daughter called screaming 'Mom help me, help me. He's got a gun,'" Trisha recalled.

Please leave your name suggestions in the comments section, or email KSAX at news@KSAX.com.

We will have a poll on KSAX.com Monday with the top suggestions.
