Police Department Uses Online "Most Wanted" List to Apprehend Criminals  

Alexandria, Minn- In an effort to involve the people of Alexandria in making their community more safe, the Alexandria Police Department has posted an Alexandria's "Most Wanted' list on their website. 

People can view mugshots and descriptions of what these individuals are wanted for.

According to Alexandria Chief of Police Richard Wyffels, the website is a great way for the community to help the police.

"It's really a way for us to share what is public information about fugitives...people who committed crimes here and probably from the area. So it's likely that someone in the area will know them and frequently citizens call us.
