And before Parkers Prairie took on Brandon-Evansville I caught up with both coaches to get there take on playing a team as equally as talented as they are. "They have a ton of height, and they use that height well against the net. Their blocking is always there, the towers I call them. So we have to defend against the block. Our hitters can't be afraid to hit" said Parkers Prairie head coach Tanya Powers. "There gonna bring Noga tonight. Noga is an outstanding player, and she can hit the ball from no matter where she is on the floor. What were bringing to the game tonight is five girls that can hit the ball and I got five girls that can block the ball" said Brandon-Evansville head coach Gary Ekdahl. As you would expect the entire match went back and forth all night. Parkers Prairie took game one in overtime 26-24. The Chargers countered in game two winning 25-19. Then it went back to Panther territory winning big in game three 25-13. The chargers charged back to win close in game four 25-23. Then the Panthers were finally able to put the last nail in the coffin as they won game five 15-8. Parkers Prairie hits the court on Nov. 7 to face off against Norman County East for the section 6A Finals at the Morris campus. Written for the web by: Tony Seeman
