Minnesota teenager Daniel Hauser is now finished with the cancer treatment he fled the state to avoid.

Hauser, 13, underwent his final radiation session Friday morning at Children's Hospital.

His dad says Hauser is finished with all of his treatments and he's cancer-free.

Hauser, who is from Sleepy Eye, gained national attention when he fled the state to avoid chemotherapy treatments earlier this year. But after he came back, he went through chemo to treat his Hodgkin's lymphoma, then started radiation therapy.

Brown County District Judge John Rodenberg has said he'd like a written report from Brown County Family Services and from the doctor treating Daniel once the boy is done with radiation. If everything looks good, the case will likely be closed.
