Investigators say the homeowners, Elizabeth and Robert Stanford, returned home around 10:30 p.m. Saturday to find their house on the 7400-block of Britt Bypass Road on fire. They called 911. Investigators say it appears the home had been burglarized before being set on fire. They say the house suffered extensive damage, but no one was hurt. The Red Cross is helping the Stanford's temporarily relocate. The St. Louis County Sheriff's Office and Minnesota State Fire Marshall are investigating they case.
