One mother who lined up at Stillwater Medical Group last Monday told 5 EYEWITNESS NEWS she had always been a little skeptical of vacccines. She says now her trust level is even lower after her 17 month-old daughter got double the recommended dosage. Children 6 months to three years-old should get .25 milliliters, but nearly 100 childern got .5 mililiters at the clinic Monday. The clinic's medical director said it was an oversight. The clinic is in the process of calling parents. So far no one has reported any side effects which could include a fever. The Department of Health said the increased dosage is still not enough to cause a safety concern. |
