Local Restaurant Shutting Its Doors for Good

ALEXANDRIA, Minn. - It's one more casualty on the lake area scene, as another business is feeling the crunch of the economy.

Times are tough for one local restaurant.The local hangout Time Square in Alexandria is shutting its doors.

"I am sad you get to know a lot of people especially in a place like this," Time Square Manager Glori Wagner said.

After, nearly thirteen years of business they are still running full service. Time Square's twenty-four employees call the restaurant home.

"We are on a limited amount of supply right now so it is first come first serve bases from now on," Wagner said.

They were planning on closing Sunday but due to the high volume of business
they are closing Friday at 5 p.m.
