Jury seated in fatal Wis. hit-and-run case

LA CROSSE, Wis. (AP) - Jurors have been picked in La Crosse County to hear the case against a driver accused of striking a pedestrian as he walked home on New Year's Eve.

Thirty-eight-year-old Rhonda Boardman is charged with felony hit-and-run involving death.

Boardman is accused of hitting and killing 55-year-old William Harter with her van as he walked to his town of Campbell home the night of Dec. 31.

Another vehicle also struck Harter, but an autopsy showed the injury that killed him was caused by the van.
