Divers recovered the bodies of Adam Bobick, 23, and Shawn Ramsdell, 33, in 15 to 20 feet of water this afternoon. The deceased went missing yesterday after their boat capsized on Blackduck Lake, which is north of Bemidji. Both Bobick and Ramsdell were from Little Falls. According to Beltrami County Sherrif, Bobick's body was recovered at 1:30 this afternoon, and Ramsdell's was recovered just before 3 p.m. Beltrami County Sheriff says yesterday around 4:00 in the afternoon, the sheriff's office received a 911 call reporting a capsized boat on Blackduck Lake. According to authorities, a pontoon which was near the area, was attempting to rescue four occupants and a dog. 21-year-old Justin Anderson of Little Falls and 21-year-old Cody Krueger of Royalton, Minn., who were on the boat, were rescued and the dog was able to swim to shore but due to high winds and stormy conditions the other two occupants were not able to be located. Beltrami County Sheriff's, Blackduck Fire Department, Blackduck Ambulance and citizens helped search for the two victims yesterday but were forced off the lake around 9:00 at night due to severe weather. |
