(AP) - The Minnesota State Patrol says a pickup truck spun out of control on snow-covered roads in west-central Minnesota, leading to a head-on collision that killed two Doran residents. The State Patrol says the crash occurred early Friday afternoon near the Otter Tail County town of French, about six miles west of Fergus Falls. 63-year-old Larry Smith and his 89-year-old mother, Bernice Smith were in the pickup. They died from injured sustained in the crash. 58-year-old Peggy Smith suffered non-serious injuries.
